I lived it, I played the game, and I saw the cracks. Now, I’m building something different. Gloww isn’t a rebrand or a new logo. It’s a rebellion. A platform for the people who’ve always cared about doing it right,  but never had the tools or autonomy to make it work. Here’s why the old model is dying, and what we’re building in its place.

The Problem: What’s Broken in Traditional Recruitment 

The traditional recruitment model is a volume game. Pack in as many calls, as many KPIs, as many CVs as possible, and hope something sticks. Relationships become numbers. Clients get oversold. Candidates get ghosted. And consultants? They burn out. The biggest irony? Most recruitment businesses are terrible at attracting or retaining their own talent. The pressure is relentless, the support minimal, and the cut you get for doing all the graft is laughable.

It’s why the best recruiters either jump ship to go solo, or worse, leave the industry entirely. Not because they weren’t good. But because the system wasn’t built for them to thrive. It’s outdated. Over-controlled. And it breeds the very behaviours that give recruitment a bad name.

The Truth: Going Solo Doesn’t Always Work Either

There’s never been a better time to back yourself. But too many good recruiters are still waiting for permission. Still stuck in old habits, old companies, or old fears. Gloww is the alternative we all wish existed five years ago. And now we’re building it, together.
